New Name – New Address
WEB SITE NEWS – NEW NAME – WE’VE MOVED!
Welcome to AdriBarrCrocetti.com
Yes, I have a new name and a new web address. The internet is a crowded place, and there are just too many sites called The Front Burner. The stovetop’s full, and it is time for a name change.
Everything else will remain the same – home cooked Italian food and recipes, sources for fine Italian ingredients and liquor (lots of liquor) and family reminiscences.
Please set your spam filters and update your bookmarks. And I beg your indulgence during the changeover. Some pages might look a little funny or take longer than usual to load. Bart is working hard to get everything updated.
I have lots of projects planned for Fall and the upcoming holidays, so I invite you to visit often.
Thanks for stopping by, leave a comment or you can email me at Adri@AdriBarrCrocetti.com
Make an Americano and let’s toast to a smooth transition!

Pass it on!
I have no affiliation with any product, manufacturer, or site mentioned in this article.

Adri – I’m sorry you’re having to switch from The Front Burner, but your new moniker has a real cachet to it. Right away when I saw your drink “The Americano,” I couldn’t help thinking of Sophia Loren singing “Tu vuo’ fa’ l’americano” in the movie “It Started In Naples.” I’m off to change your address on my blog links.

Ciao Linda,
I love that movie! And today is her birthday. What a beauty. You know, I had forgotten all about that song.
Thank you for the kind words about the new name. I too am sorry to see the old one go, but as another song says “You got to know when to fold.”
Let’s drink an Americano and toast the new Americana.

Your words, recipes and recommendations will be sweetly received regardles of what name you use, Adri, but to be honest, I am pleased to see you are moving your site to your own name, getting out from behind the stove. Thanks to Bart, too, for helping you make this transition. I will look forward to your first posting. In the meantime, I will lift my glass to toast your endeavors.

Thank you Lynne,
I have contemplated the name change for a while now, and finally figured the eponym was the way to go. I could not have done this without Bart and with Jeremy Clark, the author the the WordPress theme we use. Jeremy was very generous with his time and super helpful, and really eased the transition. Thank you so much for your support and for stopping by!

Hi Mette,
Excellent! Indeed I am concerned about losing readers, but I’ll just have to redouble my PR efforts and depend on folks to pass the word. Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hi Janet,
It was time for a change, and I wanted something unique. I figured the route of the eponym was the way to go.

Hi Greg,
Yes, the flame is out on the old site. Long live AdriBarrCrocetti.com!

Congratulations on the transition. There really are a lot of Front Burners out there. I discovered that when I moved home to Oz and began reconnecting with my favorite blogs etc. After warm Punch Abruzzo helped us through the coldest winter on record in Alice, I am looking forward to going back through your summer cocktails as the weather gets warmer. My first effort at reaching your new site delivered the recipe for the Americano. What a lovely drink for a warm evening. Your mention of the Volstead Act raised a smile. The new legislature here in the Northern Territory has relaxed the liquor laws. I may be able to purchase exotic items like Campari and Cinzano locally instead of relying on my supplier in Adelaide.

Ciao Aileen,
Thanks for the kind words. It was time to turn the flame off on the old site, and get eponymous. I love reading that you are enjoying Punch Abruzzo. In Chieti, where it was developed, they have some very cold weather also.
Hopefully you can look forward to more easily obtainable Italian liquors. Even here in the States, there are many we never see. Each year, however brings more and more imports and thus more and more experimental tippling around our house.
Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy your Summer Down Under.
