Thank you! Each morning I cruise out to the garden and pick a bit of this and a bit of that – what ever looks good, what I need or what my neighbors might enjoy. Then I move it over to a slate table on my patio, assess it for, you guessed it, “blogworthiness”!! I could not resist these colors. The two together were a new combo for me. I grabbed the camera and went for it. I actually took this shot a few days ago, and this is my inaugural Wordless Wednesday contribution. I am pleased to hear that you like it. Thanks so much for stopping by, and especially for taking the time to share your thoughts. “WW” could become a habit.
Close enough to taste, I can almost feel the moisture on the skin of the tomatoes and eggplant, the shared experience of walking out into your garden with you. Did you notice there is a bell pepper shape reflection on the eggplant, as if another vegetable is trying to work its way into the still life? As beautiful as WW is, I somehow suspect that the meal you make from it will be even more spectacular. Thanks for sharing!
My, but do you ever have an acute eye! I never noticed the mystery bell pepper. This makes the shot even more intriguing. Great observation.
I have always enjoyed going out to the garden in the morning and discovering what is ripe for the picking, but now with photos in mind, I look at everything in a whole new, dare I say it, light. I find that I am enjoying my garden even more.
Thanks so much for stopping by and for sharing your observation. Come back soon!
I am pleased to hear you like this particular shot and the whole concept of Wordless Wednesdays. The visual only approach is new to me, but I find that I am enjoying it a great deal. Bart is teaching me about photography, and with subjects as beautiful as these, the lessons are never a chore. Thank you for the words of encouragement.

It’s not for nothing that regal colors are purple and gold. This combo of colors and shapes is stunning.
