It was a bit of a comedy act. The veggies were rolling, and with one hand I attempted to corral them. Since you brought it up, yes, the same hand with which I held my camera. A tricky business it is, this post-op photography. I am glad you like the Garden Chronicles. Stay tuned for next Wednesday’s installment.
Thanks, the whole deal – harvesting my backyard bounty and then photographing it – was quite challenging, both to woman and machine. But I had some laughs doing it, and I am enjoying these Wordless Wednesdays. As always, thanks so much for your interest and for your thoughts.
Yes, the garden is doing its thing. The purple peppers (and I always thought the old tongue twister had no basis in reality) have a mild flavor, more akin to red ones. They do add lots of interest to food, and they sure were perfect in the photo! I am glad they caught your eye!
Well, I am just so pleased to hear that you like “Purple Days.” I have been pleasantly surprised at the warm reception my “Wordless Wednesdays” have received. What began as a way to keep the site fresh whilst recuperating from shoulder surgery has morphed into a segment that I will continue. Thanks so much for the feedback.

Wow, you’ve got a prolific garden going there! That purple pepper is so unusual. Does it taste like the green ones, or the red ones?
